Senior Data Analyst

Overview

Own critical business data end to end as a Senior Data Analyst, building the metrics, dashboards and analyses that serve as the single source of truth across the business.

What you'll do

• Own business data as a reliable source of truth by ensuring key metrics, reports and dashboards are accurate, consistent and trusted across teams.
• Build and evolve decision-making systems across business, marketing, finance and other core functions through dashboards, reporting and analytical frameworks.
• Turn complex datasets into actionable insights by writing advanced SQL, analysing large datasets, and identifying trends, anomalies and opportunities.
• Define the metrics that matter by partnering with teams to establish KPIs, improve measurement and create clarity around performance.
• Lead data-driven problem solving by independently structuring ambiguous business questions, diagnosing root causes and recommending actions that improve outcomes.

What you'll need

• 3-6 years of experience in data analytics, business analytics or a similar role, ideally in a fast-moving consumer or technology business.
• Exceptionally strong in SQL and comfortable independently working with large, complex and imperfect datasets.
• Strong experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio or Metabase, and can build dashboards that drive decisions rather than just report numbers.
• Strong analytical and business judgment, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and translate analysis into clear recommendations for stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Python or a strong understanding of how data flows through products and technology systems.
