Senior Data Architect

Overview

Senior Data Architect responsible for designing and implementing enterprise data architecture, scalable and secure data platforms, and integrated data pipelines.

What you'll do

• Define and implement company data architecture, models, and pipelines.
• Design integrations between internal platforms and third-party systems.
• Establish standards for data quality, metadata, lineage, and classification.
• Partner with security and compliance teams on privacy, retention, and access control policies.
• Lead selection and implementation of data platforms and drive data governance adoption.
• Support data risk reviews, vendor onboarding, and audit readiness technically.
• Maintain platforms, respond to data incidents, and improve data models and pipeline reliability.

What you'll need

• 8+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise data management.
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data engineering services including S3, Glue, Redshift, and Lambda.
• Familiarity with privacy/compliance frameworks including SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI DSS.
• Strong understanding of data modeling (OLTP/OLAP), APIs, and system integration.
• Advanced proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation.
• Experience owning or leading enterprise data architecture.

• Work hours: Monday–Friday (6PM IST–3AM IST) for US Eastern Time.
