Senior Data Architect ( Techno-Functional Integration )

Overview

Lead the integration architecture, design, development and implementation of supply chain planning solutions (Forecasting, supply planning, inventory optimization and available to promise), aligning integration and IT strategy with business goals while providing thought leadership on data, integration and AI trends aligned to SAP's product roadmap.

What you'll do

• Define and execute the data and integration strategy roadmap for supply chain planning, aligned with business strategy and priorities.
• Lead the data and integration workstream for all supply chain planning programs with SAP Embedded BW and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) as the core platform, managing the end-to-end project lifecycle from scoping and planning to testing and deployment.
• Design integration strategies and data maps while minimizing data footprints across the landscape.
• Manage integration of SAP Embedded BW / SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Cloud Platform Integration for Data Services (CI-DS) with other systems and applications, such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP and related third-party tools.
• Design, build and govern enterprise-wide data pipelines.
• Oversee maintenance, support and enhancement of all integrations in supply chain planning systems and applications, ensuring performance, availability and security.
• Manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, coaching and feedback, and fostering collaboration, innovation and excellence.
• Establish and maintain relationships with senior leadership, business stakeholders and external partners as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for IT matters.
• Identify, evaluate and recommend competitive or new data integration technologies and products that further the enterprise application and data strategy.

What you'll need

• Strong techno-functional knowledge of master and transaction data needed for planning (mandatory).
• Extensive domain knowledge of supply chain planning with deep technical expertise and strong knowledge of master and transaction data.
• Minimum 15-18 years of IT experience, with at least 10 years in a techno-functional leadership role.
• Comprehensive understanding of AI tools and solutions relevant to data management.
• Exposure to AI tools (must have).
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex cross-functional IT projects, preferably in supply chain planning.
• Extensive experience with SAP Embedded BW / BTP / CI-DS, including architecture, configuration, customization, integration, testing and deployment.
• Candidate must be hands-on.
• Strong knowledge of SAP EBW, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP and other SAP modules and applications related to supply chain planning, with deep expertise in SAP system capabilities.
• Knowledge of AI models for enhancing data quality, along with deployment expertise.
• Excellent communication, influencing, presentation and interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with senior leadership, business stakeholders and external partners.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and independent decision-making skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs and requirements.

• Direct experience building AI solutions for data management.
