Senior Data Engineer

Overview

Senior Data Engineer responsible for BAU data engineering for DFKL for Consumer and Commercial bureau, and for development/maintenance of programs that produce project metrics, analyses, dashboards, and presentations.

What you'll do

• Review data to identify key insights.
• Identify ways to use data to solve Entity Resolution problems.
• Gather, view, and analyze information using analytical skills.
• Measure and statistically analyze data using numerical skills.
• Work with stakeholders to develop or improve Entity Resolution (keying & linking).
• Provide design and development support for solutions using large datasets within GCP/Ignite platform.
• Capture business and functional requirements for key projects.

What you'll need

• Work location is Bangalore.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of data management, engineering, and/or data analysis experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience managing small/mid-size teams.
• Clear communication of technical/analytical results to technical and non-technical leaders.
• SQL and BigQuery knowledge.
• Basic fundamentals of programming.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of credit bureau data.
• Experience or advanced degree with focus on Entity Resolution concepts and prototype/hand-on projects.
• Experience using graph databases and AI/ML tools for large-scale business problems.
• Experience in data visualization and storytelling.
• Ability to work in a demanding user environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to operate with minimum handholding when situations are unclear.
