Senior Data Engineer

Overview

Senior Data Engineer / Senior ETL Developer to design and build scalable cloud-based data pipelines and trusted analytics-ready datasets for enterprise data and analytics.

What you'll do

• Lead design and development of scalable cloud-based data pipelines.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest structured and semi-structured data into a centralized cloud data warehouse.
• Transform raw data into curated, business-ready datasets for reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics.
• Implement transformation logic using DBT to create reusable data models.
• Optimize BigQuery performance using partitioning, clustering, and query optimization.
• Automate and monitor data workflows using Airflow/Cloud Composer.
• Establish data quality checks, testing strategies, and governance practices.

What you'll need

• Minimum 6+ years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Expert-level experience with Google BigQuery for cloud data warehousing and analytics.
• Expert-level Python experience for processing, orchestration, and scripting.
• Expert-level SQL experience for wrangling, transformation, and query optimization.
• Expert-level DBT experience for modular and maintainable transformations.
• Expert-level Airflow / Cloud Composer experience for workflow orchestration and scheduling.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related technical field.
