Data Engineer II (7–12 Years' Experience Required)

Overview

Data Engineer II (Enterprise Data Development) designs, builds, and supports cloud data solutions that integrate and transform business data into a data warehouse for the enterprise.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and support GCP, ETL, and SQL solutions.
• Support data warehouses and related scheduled jobs.
• Analyze business requirements and improve process efficiency.
• Partner with architects, solution managers, and analysts to deliver data solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues with users, IT teams, vendors, and service providers.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement across processes.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
• 7–12+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong hands-on cloud data engineering experience, with GCP preferred.
• Expert-level skills in SQL, Python, and data warehousing concepts.
• Working knowledge of BigQuery, Composer, dbt, and cloud functions.
• Experience with ETL pipelines, job scheduling tools, and production support.
• Understanding of SAP landscape, data governance tools, and cybersecurity basics.

Nice to have

• GCP Data Engineer certification and/or GCP certification.
• Understanding of the CPG industry.
