Senior Data Engineer

Overview

Senior Data Engineer responsible for designing and building scalable data pipelines and maintaining cloud data platforms and warehouse/lake/mart architectures.

What you'll do

• Lead design and development of scalable data pipelines for ETL (integration, transformation, and loading).
• Architect and maintain data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts on cloud platforms, with primary focus on Snowflake.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior data engineers.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Identify opportunities to use data and analytics to solve complex problems and drive initiatives.
• Implement data modeling, transformations, and orchestration using dbt.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data engineering processes, standards, and best practices.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong expertise in data warehousing and cloud-based data platforms, with focus on Snowflake.
• Proficiency in ETL tools, particularly Fivetran.
• Experience with data orchestration and transformation using dbt.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and database design principles.
• Programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies.
