Senior Manager-Data Engineer

Overview

Senior Manager, Data Engineering to implement and expand data reporting, collectors, transformations, and quality checks for media and marketing data.

What you'll do

• Implement and expand WPP’s Measure reporting platform to meet client reporting needs.
• Deploy data collectors in Adverity to gather data from media, agency systems, and other sources.
• Develop and expand data “recipes” and SQL transformations using DBT on Google Cloud Platform.
• Build and maintain data quality checks and procedures to prevent issues impacting reporting quality.
• Monitor automated jobs and troubleshoot data issues as they arise.
• Support “last mile” transformation and visualization in Google Data Studio reports and dashboards.
• Translate user and business requirements into technical specifications and provide updates to stakeholders.

What you'll need

• Bachelor degree in Science or Engineering.
• 6+ years experience in data engineering, preferably with advertising media or marketing data.
• Professional experience with Python and SQL, preferably deployed via DBT.
• Experience using Google Cloud Platform and associated technologies.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks autonomously.
