Overview
Own and architect data pipelines and integrations that power the supply chain Knowledge Graph in Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) for industrial GenAI.
What you'll do
- Design and package scalable data pipelines ingesting and normalizing supply chain data from internal systems and external logistics/visibility platforms.
- Build robust integrations between CDF and supply chain data ecosystems from SAP/ERP to external systems.
- Optimize and curate ingested data for consumption by the supply chain knowledge graph using Cognite’s data management framework.
- Enhance the Integrated Supply Chain Solution Model and its relationships for AI agent traversal.
- Lead data extractions and high-performance ETL using Python, SQL, and REST APIs to make industrial data “agent-ready”.
- Collaborate with partners to validate integration assumptions, manage API changes, and progressively improve packaged connectors.
What you'll need
- 3–7 years of experience in a data-intensive, customer-facing role focused on production-grade pipelines.
- Experience integrating external logistics visibility platforms using REST APIs (e.g., FourKites).
- Deep understanding of supply chain data structures including TMS, WMS, and SAP modules (MM, PP, PM) or similar suites.
- Expertise in designing complex data schemas optimized for relational queries and graph traversals.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, and working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- DevOps mindset including experience with Git and CI/CD and writing clean, maintainable, scalable code.
- Knowledge and experience with Big Data and database systems such as Oracle and MSSql.
Nice to have
- Direct experience with Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) Data Objects and the Industrial DataOps platform.
- Experience extracting unstructured/structured data from documents using OCR, document AI, or LLM-based extraction tools.
- Knowledge of ISA-95/ISA-88 and SCOR DS standards for integrating enterprise and control systems.
- Experience building ETL for market intelligence data such as commodity pricing, weather, or risk-syndicate data.
