Senior Data Engineer (Managed Services)

Overview

Senior Data Engineer in the Managed Services team, supporting and enhancing modern Azure-based data platforms for clients.

What you'll do

• Monitor and manage production data and analytics solutions for performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents across Azure-based data platforms.
• Contribute to a 24x7 support model via shift rotations, weekend support, and on-call coverage.
• Develop and deploy enhancements and optimizations to existing solutions.
• Build and configure automation tools to streamline operations.
• Provide expert support and guidance to end-users and customers.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience supporting Azure-based production Data & Analytics ETL/integration solutions in Managed Services teams (e.g., Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory, Fabric, Function Apps, Power BI) under SLAs.
• Strong hands-on skills in Python and SQL.
• Proven ability to identify, investigate, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Experience with ticket management and communicating directly with customers/end-users via phone, tickets, and email.
