Senior Data Engineering - GCP Lead

Overview

Lead the design of cloud-based data engineering solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

What you'll do

• Design data solutions on GCP for development and deployment.
• Work on data storage, transformation, event processing, APIs, and IAM/security.
• Use GCP components including GCS, BigQuery, Airflow, Cloud SQL, PubSub/Kafka, and Dataflow.
• Build and support analytics-related solutions across ML/AI and BI domains (not as a data scientist role).
• Work within large, complex, geographically dispersed programmes.
• Articulate and present solutions to a wide audience at the right level.

What you'll need

• 8 to 12 years of experience.
• Strong background in data storage, transformation, event processing, APIs, and IAM/security.
• Experience and knowledge of GCP platforms where solutions are developed/deployed.
• Good experience with GCP components: GCS, BigQuery, Airflow, Cloud SQL, PubSub/Kafka, Dataflow, and Google Cloud SDK.
• Any GCP-related certification (added advantage).
• Ability to articulate and present solutions to a wide audience.

Nice to have

• Knowledge/experience of analytics solutions (ML/AI & BI).
