Lead Data Engineer - Snowflake Platform

Overview

Lead Data Engineer for the Snowflake Platform in Bengaluru, focused on designing and building large-scale data platforms, data pipelines, and enterprise data solutions.

What you'll do

• Design and build data pipelines for enterprise data using ETL/ELT processes.
• Develop and maintain data platform components that support integrations for enterprise data systems.
• Implement data controls and quality assurance mechanisms including RBAC reconciliation and anomaly detection.
• Set up scheduled and trigger-based data ingestion patterns into data warehouses and large-scale platforms.
• Optimize performance of DDLs, data pipelines, and complex SQL queries (including Snowflake).
• Manage developer deliverables and coordinate design reviews and release management activities.
• Support production incidents and collaborate with global technology teams across time zones.

What you'll need

• 10+ years experience in designing and building Data Warehouse and Data lakes.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake data platform and enterprise-level implementation.
• Technical expertise in AWS services including S3, Lamda, Glue, Step Function, and CloudWatch.
• Experience setting up RBAC in Snowflake.
• Expertise in ELT/ETL tools such as DBT, Qlik Replicate, and Snowpark.
• Expertise in SQL.
• Experience with Unix and Python scripting.
