Overview
Senior Data Platform Engineer to build, automate, and operate enterprise-scale data platforms for data engineering and analytics teams.
What you'll do
- Design, implement, and support enterprise data platforms using Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Build reusable platform capabilities for self-service onboarding, provisioning, monitoring, and governance.
- Deploy and operate Kubernetes-based platform services for data processing workloads.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment/configuration management for platform services.
- Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting; drive reliability, stability, and performance improvements.
- Apply security and governance controls including RBAC, secrets management, and network security.
- Optimize platform cost and capacity across Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric, and Kubernetes resources.
What you'll need
- 5-7 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Data Platform Operations.
- Strong experience supporting Databricks, Snowflake, or Microsoft Fabric platforms.
- Experience managing Kubernetes-based workloads in production environments.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong scripting/automation experience using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.
- Required degree: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience working within Agile and DevOps delivery models.
