Senior Data Scientist-Data Science-AA&I

Overview

Hands-on data scientist role focused on custom healthcare analytics projects, including prescription and claims-based reporting and modeling, supporting Product and Customer Success teams in Bangalore.

What you'll do

• Carry out custom projects focused on prescription and claims-based reporting and modeling using Python and/or R.
• Partner with the Product and Customer Success teams to deliver informed analyses to customers.
• Create deliverables to assist with customer engagements.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to implement optimized solutions.
• Contribute to internal projects and processes.
• Collaborate with the global team to create deliverables.
• Mentor junior analysts and help drive best practices.
• Independently scope client requests.
• Create reports and metrics out of large complex datasets.
• Understand business context, create insights from data, and apply data handling tools and techniques suited to the assigned project.

What you'll need

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, or related fields.
• Strong coding knowledge with data handling and wrangling experience in Python and/or R; hands-on experience in Python and/or R is mandatory.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work with large and complex datasets, identify process improvement opportunities, and provide data-driven insights.
• Strong analytical thinking with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Familiarity or ability to learn and work in the healthcare domain, along with a broad range of quantitative and analytical techniques.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Econometrics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Comply with information security policies and processes; report security weaknesses, events, or risks; execute all tasks related to the information security management system as appropriate.

Nice to have

• Experience with pharmaceutical or healthcare datasets.
