Senior Database Administrator

Overview

Senior Database Administrator to own uptime, performance, scaling, disaster recovery and audit readiness for the data stores behind a regulated UPI/fintech platform serving millions of users, sitting between Engineering, Data, Security and Compliance.

What you'll do

• Own uptime, performance and scaling of mission-critical databases across relational, NoSQL, key-value and analytical engines.
• Run databases in both on-premise and managed cloud (AWS) setups.
• Own disaster recovery and audit readiness for the data stores.
• Decide how databases are designed, run, recovered and paid for, in coordination with Engineering, Data, Security and Compliance.

What you'll need

• 5-8 years of experience running mission-critical databases.
• Experience across relational, NoSQL, key-value and analytical database engines.
• Experience with both on-premise and managed cloud (AWS) database setups.
