Overview
Own demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and APO/IBP system activities to meet forecast, service level, and supply chain KPI targets.
What you'll do
- Analyze data to challenge the sales forecast using historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, and strategic focus products.
- Improve forecasting and communicate forecast accuracy impact and root causes of forecast error.
- Run forecast meetings for specific channels and maintain demand planning documentation and SOPs.
- Maintain a rolling 18-month supply forecast aligned to the demand plan and support distribution cost planning.
- Manage inventory targets and safety stock levels and ensure inventory availability per SKU and DC.
- Track goods in transit (GIT) and maintain the inwards shipping spreadsheet and SAP records.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in demand and supply planning.
- 5+ years of ERP knowledge with SAP/APO/IBP.
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field with undergraduate statistical analysis or engineering focus (APICS certification a plus).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- At least 3+ years in an FMCG manufacturing environment with understanding of major retail accounts and forecasting supply chain management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive resolution of issues.
