Senior Engineer

Overview

Senior Engineer role enabling front-office quant workflows by researching, designing, coding, testing, and deploying scalable platform tools, APIs, services, and workflows.

What you'll do

• Participate in the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of solutions.
• Build and maintain APIs, services, tools, and platform components for integration with front-office workflows.
• Interface with platform users to understand use cases and support effective use of tools and services.
• Work with researchers and technology teams to translate business and research needs into engineering solutions.
• Contribute to scalable platform capabilities such as workflow tooling, metadata management, distributed storage, and integration services.
• Ensure solutions are reliable, secure, and scalable and aligned with engineering standards.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expertise in software lifecycle management tools and methodologies, including Git and JIRA.
• Strong programming expertise in at least one of Python, Go, C, or C++.
• Strong working knowledge of UNIX/Linux.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting production-quality software systems.
• Knowledge of large-scale distributed systems or distributed storage/data-intensive systems.
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical users to understand requirements.
