Senior Engineer (AOSP)

Overview

Senior Engineer (AOSP) responsible for designing and developing real-time embedded software/firmware and PC/mobile software applications.

What you'll do

• Design and develop real-time embedded software/firmware and PC/mobile applications.
• Analyze technical/low-level requirements and implement modifications for end-customer/system needs.
• Perform software testing (unit, functional, and system level) including manual and automated.
• Review code using coding guidelines and static code analysis.
• Troubleshoot software problems of limited difficulty.
• Document specifications, design documents, code comments, test cases, test reports, and release notes.
• Mentor and train junior engineers as per project requirements.

What you'll need

• 5-8 years of experience.
• Knowledge of AOSP build system and AOSP workflow, including cross-platform development of native apps.
• Knowledge of Android Framework, Android System-Vendor services, JNI, AIDL, and Android se-policy rules.
• Knowledge of Android HIDL for vendor-specific modules (e.g., Cameras, Wi‑Fi, BT, GPS, 9 Axis Sensors, Battery).
• Programming skills in C++, Java/Kotlin, and Shell scripting.
• Experience with development tools including GIT, SVN, JIRA, and Android Studio.
• B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field.
