Senior Lead Engineer

Overview

Senior Lead Engineer for Carrier Engineering Embedded Platforms in Hyderabad, developing and releasing robust Yocto-based Linux OS distributions for embedded product applications.

What you'll do

• Develop and migrate systems to Yocto-based platform releases.
• Maintain and support Yocto build system workflows in a CI/CD environment, including packaging and deployment.
• Configure, modify, and integrate the Linux kernel and embedded boot loaders.
• Port custom drivers and apply patches to legacy packages.
• Develop embedded middleware applications and protocol/driver components for Linux platforms.
• Design and maintain APIs and SDKs, plus support portability via HAL/Cloud Abstraction Layers.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of experience in C/C++ software development.
• Experience with Python and Shell scripting.
• Hands-on expertise with Linux OS (and RTOS), multithreading.
• Experience with embedded Linux using Yocto/Open Embedded/buildroot.
• Experience with U-Boot, Linux kernel configuration, and device tree.
• Knowledge of GNU (cross-)toolchain and CMake.
• Experience building images for ARM hardware platforms.
