Senior Engineer - Data Platform - Data Engineer

Overview

Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

What you'll do

• Design and implement data ingestion and transformation pipelines on GCP.
• Build lakehouse solutions using Dataflow, Dataform, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub.
• Support analytics, reporting, and AI-driven data products with data solutions.
• Deliver reliable, secure, high-performance data solutions in collaboration with data and business teams.
• Build batch and streaming ETL/ELT data processing pipelines.
• Implement CDC and incremental processing.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of experience as a data engineer.
• Hands-on expertise in BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataform, and Pub/Sub.
• Experience with Cloud Storage (GCS) and Dataplex / Data Catalog Analytics Hub.
• Experience with Cloud Monitoring & Logging and IAM & Security controls.
• Programming skills in Python and advanced SQL.
• Good scripting and automation skills.
• Knowledge of data lakehouse architecture and data modeling/warehousing concepts.

Nice to have

• Google Professional Data Engineer or Google Associate Data Practitioner certifications.
