Senior Engineer - Flow, Thermal and Arc Modelling

Overview

Senior Engineer responsible for fluid flow, thermal, electromagnetic, and plasma simulations supporting the design and optimization of electrical and data center products. The role includes independent project leadership, technical communication, and mentoring of simulation engineers.

What you'll do

• Perform fluid flow and thermal simulations for electrical and data center products.
• Execute coupled CFD and electromagnetic plasma simulations.
• Develop and validate simulation models against test data.
• Provide technical recommendations for product development and issue resolution.
• Lead complex engineering projects and coordinate cross-functional execution.
• Develop simulation methodologies and contribute to patents, innovation disclosures, and technical publications.
• Mentor engineers on simulation practices, model development, and technical problem solving.

What you'll need

• 4–5 years of experience.
• M.Tech or MS in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong fundamentals in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and arc physics.
• Experience with CFD modelling using Ansys CAE tools.
• Exposure to electrical and electromagnetics fundamentals.
• Ability to solve complex problems using rigorous methods.
