Overview

Senior Engineer, Integration in India responsible for data integration requirements, database development and continuous improvement for MIS and client data.

What you'll do

• Gather information and requirements for data integration from internal and external stakeholders, including new and existing clients, MIS teams, TPAs, and banking institutions.
• Determine project/task scope, risks, opportunities and timeline, and create technical project documentation.
• Design, create, and maintain database structures and data feeds for MIS and client data.
• Develop right-sized frameworks for data storage, transformation, and processing.
• Monitor database and related systems to optimize performance and ensure high availability.
• Implement and maintain data feeds between MIS, clients, and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs).
• Write and manage AWS Lambda integrations and database scripts.
• Conduct debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of database systems.
• Ensure secure data storage, backup, and archival processes in compliance with IT security standards.
• Collaborate with IT Security teams to implement best security practices in database management.
• Keep abreast of developments and best practices in database engineering and implement where appropriate.
• Participate in product management activities, contributing to internal and external product design and rollouts.
• Implement best practices within the organization to enhance maintenance, efficiency, and data transfer/storage quality.
• Manage workload effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting project deadlines.
• Work closely with senior Technology team members on special projects.
• Contribute to functional documentation, ensuring clear and accurate translation of business requirements into technical tasks.
• Share knowledge with team members and provide mentorship to junior team members.
