Senior Engineer PCB Design

Overview

Senior Engineer responsible for PCB design within embedded hardware and electronics R&D projects, focusing on power supplies, mixed-signal circuits, and motor protection controls.

What you'll do

• Design 2-layer to 6-layer PCBs using Cadence Allegro, Altium, and CADSTAR.
• Route EMI/EMC and high-speed signals.
• Develop analog and high-speed digital layouts.
• Create footprints and manage component libraries in Cadence.
• Draft and communicate layout and Gerber packages to PCB fabricators.
• Troubleshoot issues with mechanical design and cross-functional teams.
• Apply IPC, UL/IEC, and VDE design standards.

What you'll need

• 8-10 years of relevant experience.
• BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Expertise in Cadence HDL/CIS and Altium PCB Suite tools.
• Experience with high-voltage, mixed-signal, AC-DC and DC-DC power supply circuits.
• Experience with DFM and DFT.
• Knowledge of soldering techniques.
• Basic understanding of vibration, thermal, and environmental testing.

Nice to have

• Experience with E-CAD and M-CAD collaboration.
• Knowledge of the New Product Development process.
