Senior Engineer, Product Security

Overview

Senior Product Security Engineer role supporting rollout of DevSecOps capabilities across geographies and business units and improving product/application security.

What you'll do

• Support delivery of Product Security and Cybersecurity engineering initiatives.
• Work with engineering teams to ensure products are secure on delivery and implement provided security capabilities.
• Build and maintain product security tools and services, including integrations security tools in the CI/CD process.
• Track and report security KPIs to improve engineering teams’ security posture.
• Deliver product security education and act as an advocate in the DevSecOps/application security community of practice.
• Review IaaS/PaaS cloud architecture roadmaps and recommend baseline security controls while supporting threat modeling.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in application security, development, or DevOps in a technical hands-on environment.
• Working knowledge of web stack, web security, and common vulnerabilities (e.g., SQLi, XSS).
• Good coding experience with Python most desirable (or similar programming language).
• Experience deploying containers using CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab Pipelines, Jenkins) and Terraform or Helm.
• Ability to think like a hacker.
• Self-starter attitude and security hobbyist/enthusiast mindset.
