Overview
Senior Engineer role in the SAP-Services team focusing on SAP SDLC capabilities and Cloud ALM/DevSecOps tooling for Deutsche Bank.
What you'll do
- Support, maintain, and enhance SAP SDLC capabilities (including Cloud ALM and related toolchain).
- Oversee DevSecOps tool chain components such as SAP Cloud ALM, GitHub, and JFrog Artifactory, and support migration from SAP Solution Manager.
- Engineer custom code to modernize and safeguard the DevSecOps toolchain (ABAP/Python) for SAP RISE, GCP, or on-premises applications.
- Integrate audit requirements and SDLC process controls into SAP development and deployment workflows.
- Troubleshoot SAP transport failures, deployment issues, system inconsistencies, and performance problems.
- Manage SAP TMS to ensure secure and compliant movement of configurations and custom developments.
What you'll need
- Strong SAP Basis and HANA expertise across upgrades, migrations, installations, and production stability/performance optimization.
- Software development skills in ABAP, Python, and scripting.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud ALM, GitHub, and TMS.
- Understanding of cloud-based SAP environments including SAP RISE and SAP BTP (and cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Strong understanding of SAP HANA and familiarity with SAP S/4HANA modules and SAP Fiori applications.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools for SAP automation (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Ansible).
