Senior Engineering Lead - Credit Risk - Senior Vice President

Overview

Senior Principal Engineer (Credit Risk) responsible for leading complex, large-scale engineering initiatives and establishing innovative technology solutions for the Credit Risk Technology Team.

What you'll do

• Provide technical leadership and development oversight for Software Engineers/Analysts.
• Ensure designs follow appropriate architectural and design patterns for scalable, intelligent systems.
• Develop key software components and teach patterns/techniques to the team, especially around Agentic AI.
• Host design and code review sessions across multiple organization levels.
• Improve engineering standards and processes, including AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Git Copilot, Devin AI).
• Collaborate with global teams (software engineers, business analysts, dev-ops, support) to deliver solutions.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience designing and developing robust, scalable, maintainable applications using Object Oriented Design principles.
• Hands-on web technologies: HTML, CSS, React JS.
• Experience with REST APIs and backend development using Java/J2EE.
• Deep experience with Big Data technologies and data platforms for AI model training/serving/management.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and deployment/packaging (Docker/Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Experience with Agile processes emphasizing test-driven development.
• CI/CD pipeline knowledge and tools such as JIRA, BlackDuck, SONAR (and related tooling listed).
