Senior Engineering Manager – Technical & Projects

Overview

Lead complex electrical engineering and power system consulting projects for global clients. Provide technical leadership across power system studies, electromagnetic transient analysis, and EMI/EMC assessments.

What you'll do

• Lead power system, electromagnetic transient, and EMI/EMC studies.
• Use ETAP, PSCAD, CDEGS, or equivalent simulation software to perform engineering analysis.
• Review systems, models, calculations, reports, and technical deliverables for quality and compliance.
• Develop recommendations for system design, operation, protection, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Manage project scope, resources, risks, schedules, deliverables, and budgets.
• Present technical findings to clients and support proposals, estimates, and business development.
• Mentor engineers and support engineering methods, tools, and knowledge sharing.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Significant professional experience in power system studies and electrical engineering consulting.
• Strong hands-on experience with ETAP and/or PSCAD.
• Strong understanding of electrical power systems, protection, system studies, and IEC/IEEE standards.
• Experience leading technically complex projects and managing scope, schedules, and deliverables.
• Experience with international clients and presenting technical findings.
• Strong technical report writing, communication, analytical, and project planning skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with CDEGS or equivalent engineering software.
• Experience in industrial, utility, oil and gas, renewable energy, rail, or similar environments.
