Senior Executive -Civil Engineering

Overview

Senior Executive for Civil Engineering at Zentiva's Ankleshwar site, responsible for civil drawings, documentation, and civil maintenance and project activities.

What you'll do

• Prepare drawings with AutoCAD as per engineers' requirements, including validation drawings as per procedure.
• Maintain the established system of drawing documentation and archival of drawing sets as per procedure.
• Plan, execute and coordinate civil engineering activities for the site, colony and Guest House.
• Assist the Project and Plant engineer in preparing various proposals.
• Assist the HOD in proposing miscellaneous CAPEX projects and comparing the proposals.
• Assist the HOD in planning, executing and coordinating civil maintenance activities.
• Certify work done by contractors.
• Assist in purchase-related coordination with external parties.
• Ensure compliance with management systems, including training, timely documentation and maintenance records.
• Liaise with statutory authorities pertaining to GIDC and Factory Inspectorate.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, behaviour, actions or potentially hazardous situations related to EHS.
• Ensure adherence to required compliance, quality and HSE systems in the area under scope and control.
• Engineer small process modifications (e.g. extension of flexible pipe, electric connection), handle day-to-day breakdown maintenance, and give job instructions to shift technicians.
• Update civil commodity rates.
• Coordinate with other departments and external suppliers as required.

What you'll need

• B.E. or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 3 to 8 years of experience.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of civil engineering planning.
• Awareness of cGMP and EHS requirements.
• Communication skills (verbal and written).
• Documentation skills.
