Senior Field Service Engineer

Overview

Senior Field Service Engineer executing on-site service work for ABB DCS Automation Systems in the Hydro Power/Power industry.

What you'll do

• Execute service work with low to medium complexity per work instructions and ABB standards.
• Plan and carry out customer work using a first-time right approach.
• Install, service, maintain, and commission DCS Automation Systems.
• Provide on-site and remote support for issue resolution and commissioning.
• Lead project teams during major commissioning assignments.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare material lists and coordinate availability of parts, tools, and equipment.

What you'll need

• 3-8 years of DCS systems experience in the Hydro Power/Power industry.
• Experience with process control and instrumentation.
• Experience handling large projects (100+ MW).
• Skills in installation, service, maintenance, and commissioning of DCS.
• Ability to commission across Pan India with 70-80% travel.
• Diploma & B.E/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, or Instrumentation.
