Senior Full Stack Developer

Overview

Join the Zoetis Tech & Digital Global ERP organization as a Senior Full Stack Developer building robust and scalable systems for custom digital product applications. The role covers end-to-end software development, including design definition, implementation, documentation, deployment and monitoring of cloud applications, with direct engagement with technical leadership.

What you'll do

• Improve backend and frontend proxy services by implementing, designing and documenting features that bring value.
• Investigate bugs, identify root causes, suggest solutions and implement fixes.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback to fellow developers and take inspiration from their coding practices.
• Maintain releases, DevOps processes, CI/CD and Kanban activities.
• Work with Product Managers to understand requirements and priorities.
• Work with the Tech Lead and Software Developers to ensure design feasibility and technical alignment.
• Work with Quality Assurance Specialists on usability feedback and design adherence.
• Work with Marketing and Branding Teams to maintain brand consistency.
• Work with external research partners or user testing groups as needed to gather user insights.

What you'll need

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in software development in relevant technologies.
• Experience in multiple listed front-end technologies, including React with Hooks, Context API, React Router and state management.
• Experience with Angular components, services, RxJS and TypeScript.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS and responsive design.
• Experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with testing tools including Jest, React Testing Library, Jasmine/Karma and Cypress.
• Experience with .NET/.NET Core (C#).
• Experience with ASP.NET Core Web API and RESTful services.
• Experience with Entity Framework (ORM).
• Experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL, including database design, queries and optimization.
• Experience with Git, including branching strategies and code review practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or similar.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• Azure cloud services experience; AWS/GCP acceptable.
• State management experience with Redux or NgRx.
• GraphQL client/server experience.
• Authentication and authorization experience with OAuth2/OIDC, JWT or Azure AD.
• Kubernetes and HELM experience.
• Messaging or queuing experience with RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus.
• Caching experience with Redis.
• Monitoring experience with Application Insights or OpenTelemetry.
• Microservices architecture, domain-driven design or event-driven architectures experience.
• Performance profiling and optimization experience.

Details

• Location: Hyderabad.
• Full-time position.
• Regular working hours are 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST.
• Sometimes, more overlap with the EST time zone is required during production go-live.
• Flexible working hours may be needed to accommodate collaboration with international teams.
• The role is primarily sedentary and involves working at a computer for extended periods.
• Occasional travel may be required for user research sessions, team workshops or conferences.
