Senior Full stack Engineer (L3) - Trading

Overview

Senior Full Stack Engineer (L3) for the Trading team at OpenFX, owning the client-facing trade experience end-to-end across GUI and APIs.

What you'll do

• Own architecture for quote, pricing, trade initiation, and trade status/settlement tracking.
• Design frontend state, data-fetching patterns, and retry/exception handling.
• Improve frontend performance, reliability, and stability under frequent quote updates.
• Build and extend APIs and data models that power the client surfaces.
• Instrument and monitor client experience metrics such as error rates, completion, and latency.
• Act as a product engineer by scoping problems, prioritizing, and driving work to closure.

What you'll need

• 5–7 years of experience building production web applications, with most depth on the frontend.
• Trading background building client-facing live trade/order-path systems.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and React.
• Strong state management skills (Redux or equivalent).
• Server-side rendering and code splitting experience.
• Experience writing automated frontend tests with frontend test frameworks.
