Senior Hardware Engineer - PCB Design

Overview

Senior Hardware Engineer responsible for leading hardware development of next-generation routing and switching platforms from concept through production. The role focuses on PCB design, product ownership, lab validation, and cross-functional technical leadership.

What you'll do

• Own technical deliverables and documentation for networking product platforms.
• Review schematics, bills of materials, PCB placement, routing, lab results, and compliance tests.
• Design, implement, release, bring up, and test PCBs.
• Perform design validation testing, fault analysis, and new-part qualification.
• Lead cross-functional and supplier collaboration during product development.
• Design and verify CPLD and FPGA logic.
• Provide product sustaining support.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of hardware engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience owning product platforms from concept through production.
• Proficiency in high-speed board design, bring-up, and debugging.
• Experience with DDR-4, DDR-5, PCIe, SPI, XGMII, XFI, and XAUI buses.
• Strong lab skills with high-end test and measurement equipment.
• Knowledge of CPU and memory architectures, system design, and product compliance considerations.

Nice to have

• Experience with EMI, EMC, safety, and environmental compliance for telecom systems.
• Experience in CPLD and FPGA design and verification.
• ME/M.Tech qualification.
• Industry contacts covering current trends, best practices, and innovations.
