Senior HSE Specialist

Overview

The Senior HSE Specialist implements and manages Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs across corporate office facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, client standards, and FM operational procedures.

What you'll do

• Lead HSE compliance programs across office facilities and workplace operations.
• Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and safety audits.
• Manage contractor safety, permit-to-work processes, and high-risk activities.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety observations; implement corrective actions.
• Develop and coordinate emergency response plans, fire drills, and evacuation exercises.
• Ensure compliance with fire & life safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations.
• Deliver HSE training, inductions, toolbox talks, and safety awareness campaigns.
• Monitor and report HSE metrics, audit findings, and corrective action status.
• Support sustainability initiatives, waste management, energy conservation, and ESG objectives.
• Maintain HSE documentation, statutory records, and compliance registers.
• Partner with FM operations, security, engineering, housekeeping, and client stakeholders to promote a positive safety culture.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of HSE experience within Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, Commercial Office Buildings, or Workplace Services.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations, contractor management, fire & life safety, and incident investigation.

Nice to have

• NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001/14001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent certifications.
