Overview
Wells Fargo is hiring a Senior Information Security Engineer to lead incident response, investigation, and security testing activities.
What you'll do
- Lead or participate in computer security incident response for moderately complex events.
- Conduct technical investigations and perform post-incident digital forensics.
- Provide security consulting to ensure conformity with information security policies and standards.
- Design, document, test, and maintain moderately complex security solutions across multiple domains.
- Review and correlate security logs.
- Identify vulnerabilities, perform risk assessments, and recommend remediation alternatives.
- Perform automated and manual security testing, including DAST initiatives.
What you'll need
- 4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience (or equivalent via experience, training, military experience, or education).
- Industry-recognized certifications are desired (e.g., OSCP, CPT, or CISSP).
- Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and SANS Top 25, and common application security threats.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language to analyze vulnerabilities and validate false positives.
- Scripting experience in Python or PowerShell.
- Ability to perform penetration testing and security assessments across web, mobile, thick client, and API/web services.
- Working knowledge of networking concepts like ICMP, DNS, TCP/IP, and DHCP.
