Senior Java Developer

Overview

Senior Java Developer on Citi’s Product Processor Development Team in Pune supporting the OAFIN (Oasys Financial) application for OTC derivatives product control and finance.

What you'll do

• Convert business and functional requirements into technical design documents.
• Lead development to deliver requirements and support OAFIN in product processor departments.
• Create project plans and keep PTS documentation up to date.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across business analysis, assurance, platforms/infrastructure, and support.
• Prepare handover documents, manage SIT with oversight of UAT.
• Design, implement, integrate, and test new features; resolve issues affecting performance, reliability, and usability.
• Mentor other developers and conduct review activities such as design/code/technical document reviews.

What you'll need

• 3 to 6 years of experience with Java 17/21 and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Experience with JPA and Hibernate.
• Design secure RESTful APIs using JSON and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Proficiency with Oracle/MSSQL, SQL writing, and RDBMS concepts.
• Hands-on unit and integration testing with JUnit 5.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good UNIX/Linux shell scripting proficiency (Bash).
