Services Engineer

Overview

Services Engineer on GE Vernova’s Digital Implementation Services team, designing and delivering high-performance integration solutions for next-generation digital grids.

What you'll do

• Architect, implement, and test integration flows using the GridOS Data Connect SDK.
• Build and maintain GridOS Data Fabric interfaces to harmonize IT/OT data with scalability and security.
• Tailor out-of-the-box product capabilities to fit customer utility requirements.
• Own the end-to-end integration lifecycle from requirements to deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Collaborate with a global cross-functional team to translate customer grid requirements into software interfaces.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java or Kotlin.
• Deep proficiency in Spring Boot or related frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, and Message Queues (MQ/Kafka).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency with Git, Confluence, Jira, Maven, and Nexus.
• Proven experience with Agile development and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
