Senior Java Developer- Telecom Domain

Overview

Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of cloud-native Java microservices and REST APIs for enterprise networking and automation platforms in the telecom domain.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Java microservices and REST APIs.
• Develop and maintain backend services for networking and automation platforms.
• Drive design reviews, code quality, performance tuning, and production readiness.
• Architect high-availability, scalable cloud-native applications.
• Implement containerized solutions with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement durable reliability fixes.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Deep experience with microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL, including data modeling and query optimization.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and microservice deployment strategies.
• Strong system design, debugging, problem-solving, and production incident-handling skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and telecom applications.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, messaging platforms, API gateways, or Kafka.
• Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps, infrastructure automation, or Ansible Playbooks.
• Experience with large-scale cloud-native platforms and distributed environments.
• Familiarity with frontend or full-stack web development.
• Exposure to observability, monitoring, application performance management, or network automation.
