Senior Java Developer

Overview

Senior Java Developer responsible for building scalable backend services and RESTful APIs while integrating generative AI capabilities into Java applications.

What you'll do

• Architect and develop secure backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and deploy containerized microservices with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Design database schemas and optimize queries across relational and non-relational databases.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Implement unit, integration, and contract tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Integrate LLM APIs and build RAG pipelines and agentic workflows.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and frontend engineers on technical solutions.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of professional software development experience focused on Java backend systems.
• Strong Java proficiency, including concurrency, multithreading, and object-oriented design patterns.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful web services.
• Experience with SQL databases and Hibernate/JPA.
• Proficiency with Git and Maven or Gradle.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience building a RAG application or chatbot.
• Familiarity with Python for basic AI scripting or data manipulation.
