Senior Lead Engineer

Overview

Senior Lead Engineer for the Digital Engineering Methods, Process, and Adoption (DEMPA) team at Collins Aerospace, focused on advancing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices and adopting Digital Engineering capabilities.

What you'll do

• Analyze customer requirements and specifications and ensure alignment to project objectives.
• Decompose system-level requirements into subsystem and component-level requirements.
• Define and implement requirements and architecture modeling using SysML with Cameo.
• Lead adoption and integration of Digital Thread methodologies for collaboration and lifecycle management.
• Develop and present technical and business proposals to drive adoption of engineering methods.
• Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Own project execution to deliver within cost, quality, and schedule constraints.

What you'll need

• 7 to 11 years of experience in cyber-physical system modeling.
• Expertise in MBSE tools, methodologies, and workflows.
• Advanced knowledge of system architecture and requirement modeling using SysML and Cameo (or similar).
• Advanced experience with MATLAB/Simulink and MATLAB scripting.
• Experience with requirements management, traceability, change management, and version control.
• Strong background in Verification & Validation processes.
• B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Computer Science (or equivalent).
