Overview
Copy of CFD & Aerodynamic Engineer (AI Training & Evaluation) to design and validate CFD/aerodynamics tasks that evaluate AI models’ engineering reasoning.
What you'll do
- Design compact CFD and aerodynamics tasks that evaluate AI models.
- Create technically accurate problem statements on simulation setup topics.
- Develop deterministic scoring checkers to evaluate AI-generated responses objectively.
- Produce verified reference solutions to ensure tasks are solvable and correct.
- Review and refine tasks to improve clarity, physical accuracy, and difficulty.
- Apply OpenFOAM experience to develop practical and realistic scenarios.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.
- Hands-on experience using OpenFOAM for CFD simulations.
- Strong foundation in fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, and heat transfer principles.
- Experience with mesh generation, turbulence modeling, boundary conditions, and simulation post-processing.
- Ability to write clear, precise, objectively verifiable engineering problems.
- Excellent written English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, motorsports, renewable energy, or industrial CFD applications.
- Familiarity with advanced CFD validation/verification techniques.
- Experience reviewing technical documentation or engineering research.
- Previous experience contributing to AI, simulation, or data annotation projects.
