Engineer - Flow & Thermal

Overview

Engineer - Flow & Thermal is responsible for performing flow and thermal analysis to predict thermal performance of electrical products like transformers and UPS.

What you'll do

• Conduct flow & thermal analysis for transformer, fuses, switchgear, UPS, and circuit protection devices.
• Develop and validate analysis models to substantiate engineering designs.
• Partner with teams in India, Europe, US, and China to understand design intent.
• Handle medium-complex conjugate heat transfer, flow estimation, and electronics cooling topics.
• Coordinate communication with stakeholders using project management best practices.
• Validate analytical predictions using physical testing to mature analytical capabilities.

What you'll need

• 0-1 years of experience in the relevant domain.
• Master’s degree in Mechanical / Fluids & Thermal from a reputed institute.
• Background in heat transfer and fluid mechanics.
• Grundp knowledge of CFD analysis fundamentals and 1D models.
• Skill in CFD, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and simulation tools.
• Accountability to deliver results for assigned tasks (with roadblocks).
