Senior Lead Software Engineer - Java, Kafka, AWS

Overview

Senior Lead Software Engineer role focused on building and delivering a ground-up, cloud-based critical market infrastructure service for the Trade Agent platform.

What you'll do

• Build, deliver, and maintain multiple Trade Agent platform components and ensure timely delivery of work items.
• Resolve high-impact problems by evaluating sophisticated architectures, business processes, and industry standards.
• Advise on designing highly resilient and future-proof solutions.
• Contribute to research and suggest new projects for the Trade Agent platform.
• Guide engineering excellence and learning & development program initiatives.
• Ensure work is documented and communicated with stakeholder expectations managed.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience.
• Microservices architecture experience, including domain-driven design and event-driven architecture.
• Hands-on containerized/orchestrated services experience using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Event-driven/message broker experience with Kafka and MQ.
• Advanced Java experience including Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience, e.g., Postgres.
• Public cloud experience preferably AWS, including services such as AWS Aurora, MSK, S3, and IAM.
