Senior Machine Learning Engineer - NLP (Bangalore/Noida Location)

Overview

Senior Machine Learning Engineer focused on NLP, building data-driven solutions using large language models and production NLP pipelines.

What you'll do

• Understand customers’ needs and innovate using machine learning techniques.
• Work on NLP problems such as voice agents, agentic applications, text classification, entity extraction, and summarisation using LLMs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate or upgrade AI solutions.
• Optimise machine learning models for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Implement and evaluate reasoning, planning, and memory modules for agents.
• Build, deploy, and own scalable production NLP pipelines and post-deployment monitoring.
• Propose evaluation metrics and establish benchmarks.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of industry experience in Machine Learning and NLP.
• B.Tech/M.Tech/PhD in computer science or mathematics-related fields.
• Strong Python and PyTorch coding skills.
• Familiarity with Transformers and LangChain/LangGraph.
• Practical NLP experience across tasks like classification, entity tagging, retrieval, question-answering, and NLP generation.
• Knowledge of Transformer-based language models such as BERT, Llama, Qwen, Gemma, DeepSeek.
• Experience with ML/Deep Learning deployments using REST API, Docker, Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and their ML services.
• Knowledge of multimodal models.
• Knowledge of real-time streaming tools/architectures like Kafka and Pub/Sub.
• Experience with open-source LLMs and related open-source contributions.
• Basic understanding of vector search, RAG, and prompt engineering; familiarity with vector databases or retrieval pipelines (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone).
