Senior Mechanical Engineer -STET

Overview

Senior Mechanical Engineer responsible for executing modified launch design (MLD) projects for class 2 devices and supporting cross-functional change initiatives. Provides end-to-end engineering support for supplier-initiated change requests.

What you'll do

• Execute modified launch design (MLD) projects for class 2 devices and changes initiated by cross-functional teams or third parties.
• Provide end-to-end engineering support for supplier-initiated change requests.
• Handle part design, tooling, and manufacturing location changes.
• Follow design controls governed by FDA.
• Lead cross-functional teams (CFT) through strong communication.
• Conduct DFM and DFA reviews with suppliers.

What you'll need

• Have a Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Have 3–6 years of hands-on experience in design engineering and product development.
• Demonstrate experience supporting modified launch designs, supplier transfer, and sustaining engineering projects.
• Be proficient in CAD software: Creo and SolidWorks.
• Have strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Have familiarity with manufacturing processes including plastic molding.
