Senior .NET Developer

Overview

Join Arcadis as a Senior .NET Developer in its product team, delivering complex technology solutions. The role covers product design, development, technical leadership, problem solving, testing and documentation.

What you'll do

• Work closely with product managers to align on product strategy, vision and roadmap.
• Create detailed functional design documents, user stories and technical specifications for feature development.
• Engage collaboratively with project managers, technical architects, solution architects and the development team.
• Lead the technical aspects of projects, ensuring the optimal technical solution is delivered on time.
• Research and analyze business domains or problems.
• Gather functional requirements and contribute to innovative solutions that enhance user experience and meet project goals.
• Support testing activities, including integration tests.
• Ensure documentation is comprehensive and clear, covering technical specifications, deployment plans and user guides.
• Lead, hire and mentor Junior Developers independently.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with programming experience, or a degree in a related discipline.
• 10+ years experience with .NET, C# and ASP.NET.
• Web development experience covering HTML, JavaScript, React/Typescript, CSS/SCSS and Web debugging DevTools.
• Professional experience with Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio Professional and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Familiarity with React, Ionic, PWAs and Microsoft Reporting.
• Experience working with Offshore teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A self-motivated, self-starter.
• Experience in Agile Product Development and SDLC.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills.
• A technical degree or equivalent professional qualification.
