Senior Privilege Access Security Engineer (9+ years of exp in Beyond Trust Password Safe)

Overview

Design, deliver and support enterprise privileged access management (PAM) solutions built on BeyondTrust Password Safe, Privileged Remote Access (PRA) and Secrets Safe.

What you'll do

• Design and deploy the BeyondTrust Privileged Remote Access solution into a customer environment.
• Design and deploy the BeyondTrust Password Safe solution into a customer environment.
• Deliver a new PAM environment, or extend an existing one.
• Take escalations for BeyondTrust PAM incidents from junior staff and act as the last point of escalation.
• Design, develop and deliver PAM policies and standards.
• Independently manage technical issues, changes, incidents and operational activities in an enterprise PAM environment.
• Support and troubleshoot PAM services within a multinational organisation.
• Develop and assist users with adoption of a PAM solution, including gaining buy-in from key stakeholders.
• Integrate PAM solutions with business applications.
• Manage risks within a complex project environment.

What you'll need

• Experience delivering a BeyondTrust Privileged Access Management (PAM) solution into a customer environment.
• Experience with BeyondTrust Secrets Safe, including application credentials, API keys, tokens, certificates and SSH keys.
• Good understanding of least privilege, RBAC and privileged-access security principles.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory / Azure / Entra ID.
• Understanding of governance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
• BeyondTrust certification.
• Clear and fluent English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to build and maintain efficient working relationships with remote teams.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and complete your own work, whilst remaining a team player.
• Willingness to engage with and work in other technologies.

• Experience delivering Just in Time (JIT) capabilities into a customer environment.
• Experience with privileged account lifecycle.
• Experience migrating PAM services from on-premise to cloud environments.
• Experience with multi-factor and certificate services.
• Experience with Quest Active Roles.
• Experience with the BeyondTrust Entitle product.
• Automation / scripting experience.
• Proven experience of delivering process efficiencies and improvements.
