Senior Product Manager - Search and Discovery

Overview

Lead strategy, discovery, and delivery for customer-facing search, navigation, and digital product experiences in an e-commerce environment.

What you'll do

• Conduct user and market research to guide product strategy and roadmaps.
• Manage site search, including relevance tuning, ranking signals, synonyms, faceted navigation, autocomplete, and zero-results recovery.
• Manage category navigation and browse taxonomy across thousands of product SKUs.
• Lead customer-experience platform strategy and system integrations.
• Own the product backlog, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and coordinate timelines with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Lead UAT, testing, product metrics, monitoring, and post-launch issue resolution.

What you'll need

• 6+ years in a product or technical role focused on software development and system integrations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Hands-on expertise with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience owning on-site search or discovery products.
• Understanding of React, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Cloud deployment experience with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong data fluency using analytics, search behavior, and A/B test results.

Nice to have

• Experience in an e-commerce setting.
• Familiarity with WMS, ERP, CRM, or similar enterprise systems.
• CSPO, SAFe, PMP, or relevant product and technical certifications.
• Cloud certifications.

Details

• Full-time, exempt role.
• Remote position open to residents of, or candidates willing to relocate to, specified U.S. states.
• Travel to Melville, New York, headquarters six times per year.
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with time-zone flexibility.
• Starting salary: $111,035–$138,794 annually; full range: $111,035–$166,553.
