Senior Product & Valuation Control Analyst - SAVP

Overview

Senior Product & Valuation Control Analyst (SAVP) supporting daily profit and loss, valuation control, and attribution activities for trading and banking desks. You will help ensure accurate financial reporting and audit-ready documentation.

What you'll do

• Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives covering daily P&L production, attribution, and commentary.
• Review and analyze valuation inputs, trade data, and reconciliation breaks for accurate financial reporting and control.
• Oversee independent price verification and fair value adjustments with Risk and Valuation Control.
• Perform daily and monthly balance sheet substantiation and ensure trade booking accuracy.
• Resolve moderately complex valuation and reconciliation issues and contribute to control framework enhancements.
• Identify process improvements in reporting accuracy, control automation, and data governance.
• Provide financial insight into profitability, risk-adjusted returns, and capital usage for business decisions.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of product and valuation control experience or equivalent.
• Strong experience in Product Control, reporting, finance, or accounting, or a related control function at a large bank.
• Demonstrated ability to partner across teams and communicate issues, analysis, and outcomes.
• Deep understanding of derivative products and risk measures with experience supporting trading businesses.
• Experience with strategic process improvement and change management.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access), SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, and Power BI.
