Senior Requirement Engineer, AVP

Overview

Senior Requirement Engineer (AVP) in Deutsche Bank's lending development team in Pune, supporting the Private Bank Germany lending department across mortgage and consumer loan lifecycles and securitization solutions. The role bridges client needs and the technical delivery team as a Functional Analyst.

What you'll do

• Challenge, capture and describe requirements according to the quality standards operating within the team.
• Be pro-active in identifying cost effective solutions to business problems.
• Act as the voice of the client throughout the development process.
• Liaise with all parties (Business, Operations, IT delivery team) involved to ensure successful delivery.
• Assist and support QAT, SIT and UAT.
• Ensure agreed analysis deliverables are prepared according to project deadlines.
• Mediate and resolve issues as and when they arise.
• Cooperate closely with other teams in the Bank to ensure strategic initiatives are leveraged.
• Identify areas where the analysis and delivery capabilities of the wider team can be improved.
• Keep aware of the latest industry trends and best practice to improve the team.
• Participate in L3 production support activities.

What you'll need

• Outstanding analysis skills, with demonstrable experience of all aspects of analysis such as business process modelling, use cases/user story writing and data modelling, in the context and use of UML standards.
• Experience working on projects requiring data analysis (including SQL).
• Comfortable working within a full project life cycle from initiation through to delivery.
• Experience in identifying and documenting client technical needs, internal structures, procedures, workflows and systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Flexible, keen to learn new technologies and to extend business domain knowledge.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrable success in meeting deadlines and operating with clients and vendors.
• Ability to work to schedules, potentially across multiple projects and teams.
• Pragmatic yet showing high attention to detail.
• Educated to degree level.
• Excellent communication skills, managing conflicts, strong documentation and presentation skills.
• Positive, self-motivated and a strong team player.
• Business writing, storyboarding and presentation.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.

Nice to have

• Previous financial domain experience.
• Understanding of financial products, especially in the lending area.
• Experience working with an agile methodology.
• Good to have Swagger definition knowledge.
• Experience on tools like Jira, Confluence and HPLM.
