Senior SDET Engineer

Overview

Senior SDET Engineer/Test Engineer focused on building and running manual and automated tests for cloud-native applications in Credit & Verification Services.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test scripts based on business requirements.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing.
• Create and maintain test data, test environments, and automation scripts.
• Conduct white box, black box, integration, UI, and API testing.
• Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps principles.

What you'll need

• 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in quality engineering, software testing, or test automation.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum processes.
• Hands-on experience with UI/API automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, or Postman).
• Proficiency in BDD and TDD approaches.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Programming/scripting experience in Java, Scala, Python, or JavaScript.
• Basic understanding of Docker containers and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, or GitLab) and defect lifecycle/reporting in Jira.

• Hybrid role requiring travel to the Hyderabad office circa 40% of days per month.
